Junior Level - K to 2nd grade


Students in this grade level are introduced to the joys of learning through unit studies and discovery. Junior classes include ample time for group activities, show and tell, and arts and crafts. Periodic field trips serve to enhance the classroom experience.
Time Travelers I
Wednesday 9:30-12:00
This class will use a multi-disciplinary approach for students to study The Golden Age of Exploration . Special emphasis will be given to hands-on activities that enhance the understanding of this exciting time period.

Let’s Explore Science!
Wednesday 12:30-3:00
Students will develop observation skills through the study of “How Things Work.”. Emphasis will be given to reinforce the importance of curiosity and discovery. Hands-on activities and several field trips are planned to reinforce concepts learned in the classroom.

Art with the Masters I
Tuesday, 12:30-3:00
An introductory class for young learners, designed to teach basic art concepts, principles and techniques to kindergarten-age children. Students will "learn by doing" with a goal to enhance their own artistic ability and sense of accomplishment.
